[In-person tour] Celebrate the 60th anniversary of "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan" album release.This was Dylan's second album and consisted primarily of original songs as opposed to his first album's covers.The songs included:"Blowin' in the Wind," "Masters of War," "Oxford Town," and "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall."Dylan was strongly influenced by his time living in New York, and his work took on a more political edge.We also mark the 60th anniversary of The March on Washington, and Dylan's performance there of "Only a Pawn in Their Game" immediately preceded Dr. Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech.This walking tour will examine the forces at work that influenced Dylan during the early 60's and contributed to his meteoric rise as a protest singer, a sobriquet he always resisted.
