Join us for an immersive Resilience Thinking Walkshop exploring the landscape architecture of northern end of Prospect Park, where participants will engage in a community performance exploring environmental and social and ecologies of resilience. Following an infinity-loop pathway, the walk encourages quiet observation, active engagement, and radical collaboration.
Stops include the Music Pagoda, Theodore Roosevelt Tree, and Vale of Cashmere Pond, where attendees will discuss utopian urban planning, queer histories, and resilience in public spaces. Using scientific resilience thinking approach heuristics, and pluriverse visioning, the walk and performance fosters deep connections between people, place, and nature. Wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and prepare for a transformative exploration of Prospect Park!
