Stroll the heart of Loisaida, Avenue C, with community leaders including a mapmaker, an urban anthropologist, gardeners and special guests. Join this introduction to the rich array of visual arts, music, architecture, community gardens and cultural foodways that have blossomed east of the East Village, along Avenue C. Meet at the glorious Campos Community Garden a few steps west of C at 644 East 12th. You’ll learn how to use Green Map’s app so you can add to http://avenueC.greenmap.org as we walk south, in Spanish or English. This is the second annual Avenue C Cultural Corridor event, co-hosted by La Sala De Pepe & Green Map NYC.
