Event Registration

This walking activity will visit two BKSK Architects’ projects around Union Square Park. The first, 44 Union Square, is the reimagined Tammany Hall building (completed 2020) which now houses the luxurious PetCo flagship store. The second, The Twenty-Two is newly completed (2025) and the first American outpost of a London boutique hotel and social club within a transformed former Ladies Mile dormitory building. The tour guides will discuss the Landmarks approvals, design, preservation, materiality, and construction approaches of these two projects, while viewing them from the street. Visitors are welcome to stay after the tour and enter PetCo, and The Twenty-Two is open to the public with a reservation for the café/restaurant.
