MAS and City College celebrate Women’s History Month with this special weekday tour. First, Dalton Whiteside, of the Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture, will lead us on a walking tour of the beautiful Gothic revival campus, constructed in 1907 by renowned architect George B. Post. Along the way, we'll learn about the many historical events that transformed City College into one of the most fascinating colleges for its time. Afterwards, we’ll visit the CCNY Libraries Archives and Special Collections Division as Professor Sydney Van Nort will lead a private tour of the collection's highlights, and the “Women Make Art” exhibit in the Archives gallery.
