Summary

New York's Seaport was an integral part of the city's development and eventual economic dominance. Prior to the construction of the Brooklyn Bridge, nearly all transportation to and from Manhattan occurred by ferryboat. This tour explores how the City's historical waterfronts in Manhattan and Brooklyn have evolved since the construction of the Brooklyn Bridge to today's waterfront development trends. We will take a ferry: bring $2.75.
