Event Registration

We've seen 57th Street transformed in recent years as super-tall, super-skinny residential skyscrapers have gone up or are going up from 432 Park Avenue (just off 57th) to 111 West 57th to One57 to Central Park Tower. We will look at those, and contemplate their meaning. Along the way we will evoke a lost 57th Street, once known as New York's rue de la Paix, and savor its remaining architectural glories: the Ritz Tower, the Fuller Building, the Osborne, and more. We will be covering the stretch roughly between Broadway and 3rd Avenue, with a detour or two. Guide Francis Morrone.
