This virtual walk concentrates on the stretch of the Hudson River from Pier 34 (south) to Pier 66 with views to vanished sites, park landscapes, and contemporary enterprises. We'll learn about technology and people—longshoremen, shipwreck survivors, unauthorized artists, reformers—who shaped the waterfront, piers, park, and today's community.
