Event Registration

Ferry Point Park, a new 20+ acre waterfront park in the Bronx, opened to the public last year. The park connects the surrounding community to the East River, enhances shoreline resiliency, and creates 15+ acres of new maritime grassland habitat and almost 2 acres of new salt marsh. As the designer of the park, I'd like to share my intimate knowledge of the site with anyone who's interested. We will walk the nearly mile-long shared pedestrian/bike path that runs through the park and take in the soaring views of the river, the Whitestone and Thoggs Neck Bridges, the Manhattan skyline in the distance, and the new ecologies developing on the site.
Format: in-person guided group walk. Wear comfortable shoes. There is very little shade on site, so bring sun protection. There are no amenities for food/drink or public bathrooms nearby.
