Discover Pigtown, a former enclave of Irish then Italian American immigrant families, now home to families from the Caribbean & African American southern diaspora. Join local architect and a sociologist/historian, for an informal tour of a neighborhood through memory, anecdotes, and artifact. This is not a nostalgia tour but a call for oral histories from the physical city by visiting its formal & informal landmarks. Please wear comfortable walking attire.
