[In-person tour] This sunset walk with Matt Postal explores the recently-rezoned banks of Gowanus, where history and redevelopment go hand in hand. En route, we’ll view the former “bat cave,” a landmark power station being refashioned by Herzog & De Mueron into a center for artists and fabricators, stroll the first of many projected waterfront promenades, and see the remains of industrial complexes where tin cans and Coignet stone were once manufactured.
