[In-person tour] This walking tour with Matt Postal highlights often overlooked buildings in Brooklyn Heights that were mostly constructed in the 20th century - following the opening of the Brooklyn Bridge and the subsequent arrival of the IRT subway. As the sun sets across the harbor, we'll see how the historic district gradually evolved, viewing private clubs, residential hotels and early skyscrapers, as well as handsome Art Deco buildings and a few notable examples of contextual design.
