Event Registration

This walk is about the new and old immigrant influences around Petrosino Square (which is actually a triangle) located just east of Soho where it meets Little Italy. This walk will touch on history, such as Lt Joseph Petrosino himself, an Italian immigrant detective who fought The Black Hand, a criminal group. We will also see some of the historic storefronts in the area, most (but not all!) of which have since changed hands many times over. The walk also includes visiting some of the current immigrant-owned eateries and shops in the area, these owners hale from Egypt, Turkey, Italy, Spain, France and elsewhere. This walk should take just over an hour.
