We'll discuss the impact of Central Park and subsequent transit improvements, as well as the "studio building" phenomena, which transformed West 67th Street into one of Manhattan's more unusual and picturesque blocks. How Lincoln Center got its name will be discussed, as well as the lasting impact of this important cultural complex on the immediate neighborhood. Cost: $30 / $20 Members.
