Join us to celebrate our city’s most-reviled residents: vermin. On this walk, we'll discuss why rats and pigeons are the truest New Yorkers.
Discover how our scrappy, cosmopolitan, and opportunistic non-human neighbors have made the city their home, and the tricks they use to not only survive, but thrive, in an environment built for humans. Our carefully-curated pest propaganda will leave you with a newfound appreciation for the nuisance next door!
We'll be walking through Sara Delano Roosevelt Park & Liz Christy Community Garden, stopping to spot signs of our non-human neighbors while completing an interactive bingo. There will be prizes! (No animal interactions required.)
