Join the NYC Parks Stewardship Team on the leafy streets of Bayside, Queens to talk about the unsung heroes that clean, shade and enliven our public spaces: trees! Meeting at Bayside Station, we'll walk around the neighborhood and learn how to identify some of the 40 species of street tree that call NYC home. In addition, we'll discuss the environmental benefits of these green giants, and what you can do to help care for them.
