Summary
[In-person tour] The Hudson River is what made New York into New York. While mostly 20th century infrastructure of tunnels, bridges and highways defines the city as we know it today, the reality is that the River's navigable connections inland and across the sea, as well as it natural bounty together are what made New York the capital of world trade for much of its existence. Today the river still offers many opportunities, but it also presents risks for those who dwell nearby. Join Carter Craft, longtime waterfront advocate and water expert for this look at the past, present, and future of the Hudson.
