Stroll one of New York City's most famous neighborhoods, Striver's row while focusing on its architecture and cultural history. Harlem's African American cultural influence on arts and entertainment are well known, but few are aware of the artists and venues where as young Jewish composers (Gershwin, Richard Rodgers) were engaged and inspired by the talent of resident black artists like Scott Joplin, Bert Williams and Bessie Smith to name a few.
