On Saturday, November 6, 2:00-4:00 PM, join MAS for a guided bike ride around the open streets of Park Slope, Prospect Heights and Fort Greene, which have served as models for communities and organizers citywide. NYC Open Streets was specially recognized by the 2021 MASterworks Jury as a creative open space policy intervention when New Yorkers needed it the most. Hear from Kyle Gorman, Emily Weidenhof, and Jessica Cronstein from NYCDOT, as well as Mark Caserta from the Park Slope 5th Ave Business Improvement District, Phillip Kellogg from the Fort Greene Open Streets Coalition and Gib Veconi from the Prospect Heights Neighborhood Development Council. We will end with a happy hour at BierWax. A special free performance will also be given by the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, courtesy of NYCDOT’s Public Space Activations program.

Exact meeting location and directions to be provided to registrants prior to 11/6.
