Summary

Walk through the beauty of Green-Wood Cemetery past the graves of some of the most important figures of early American sports. We see graves of multiple men called the “father of baseball.” We see two gravestones with baseballs carved on their gravestone. We will also see the first national champion boxer, a ship designer who started a 132-year winning streak, and players who ended an 89-game streak. We'll see pioneers in men's and women's golf. Along the way we learn about NYC’s role in the history of American sports.
