Bring your World’s Fair memories if you have them and join our free guided walk around the park for a look at over a dozen of the remaining sites and structures from the 1939/40 and 1964/65 World’s Fairs. Find out how much the Unisphere weighs. Discover the second-oldest outdoor antiquity in New York City. Learn about the controversies behind the New York State Pavilion, and what’s in the Westinghouse Time Capsules that are scheduled to be dug up 5,000 years from when they were buried. In honor of the famous culinary World’s Fair treat, we will be serving free tiny versions of the Belgian Waffle (while supplies last) as a welcome. No registration needed. Just meet us at the green pop-up tent at the Unisphere and hope to see you there!
